Every stage of pregnancy calls for a different kind of scan, and our team — led by a Managing Practitioner who is a Fellow of the Fetal Medicine Foundation Zimbabwe — is equipped for all of them. Whether you're confirming an early pregnancy or checking in on your baby's growth in the final weeks, we provide detailed, reassuring imaging using modern ultrasound equipment.
Early Pregnancy & Viability Scans
Confirms the pregnancy, its location, heartbeat, and number of embryos — usually performed from around 5–10 weeks.
Dating Scan & NT Scan
Confirms your due date and, between 11 weeks + 3 days and 13 weeks + 6 days, checks nuchal translucency as part of first-trimester screening for chromosomal risk.
Anomaly (20-Week) Scan & Gender Reveal
Performed between 18–24 weeks, this detailed scan reviews fetal anatomy, confirms dates, and includes uterine artery Doppler screening for pre-eclampsia risk where indicated. This is also when most parents ask us for a gender reveal.
Growth, Wellbeing & Late Pregnancy Scans
From 28 weeks onward, we check your baby's growth, amniotic fluid, and — closer to your due date — presentation (position) ahead of delivery.
2D, 3D and 4D Imaging
Standard 2D ultrasound is used for all clinical assessments. If you'd like a more detailed, lifelike view of your baby's face and movements, ask about our 3D and 4D ultrasound service.
